By registering for the Honour Run - Jaipur 2024, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. Registration
- Eligibility: Participants must be at least 18 years old to register for the Marathon category or according to the age requirement of that category (born on or before 2nd February 2007). Proof of age may be required at the time of registration or bib collection.
- Registration Period: Registration opens on 10th October 2024 and closes on 2nd December 2024. No registrations will be accepted after this period.
- Registration Confirmation: Your participation is confirmed only after successful completion of the registration process and receipt of the registration fee. A confirmation email will be sent upon successful registration.
- Registration Non-Transferable: Registrations are non-transferable. Once registered, participants cannot transfer their entry to another individual or defer it to a future event.
2. Participation Rules
- Race Categories: Participants must select their desired race category (e.g., Half Marathon, 10K, 5k OR 3K) at the time of registration. Changes to race categories post-registration will not be entertained.
- Minimum Requirements: Participants must meet the minimum age requirement and comply with any additional entry criteria specified by the event organisers.
- Health & Safety: Participants are advised to consult a physician before undertaking strenuous physical activity. Participation is at the individual’s own risk, and the event organisers will not be liable for any injuries, accidents, or health issues arising from participation.
- Race Bib Collection: Participants must collect their race bibs and race kits from the designated Bib Collection Center within the specified dates. Bibs will not be distributed on race day.
3. Event Rules
- Race Day Timing: Participants must adhere to the official race timings and must complete the course within the specified cut-off time to be considered an official finisher.
- Race Bib: The race bib must be worn visibly on the front of the participant’s shirt during the race. Tampering with or transferring the race bib to another person is strictly prohibited and will result in disqualification.
- Conduct: Participants must adhere to the race rules and conduct themselves in a sportsmanlike manner. Any form of cheating, misconduct, or failure to follow the race guidelines will result in disqualification.
- Environmental Responsibility: Participants are expected to respect the environment and not litter the race course. Dispose of trash in designated bins along the course.
4. Refund & Cancellation Policy
- Non-Refundable Registration Fee: The registration fee is non-refundable under any circumstances, including but not limited to injury, illness, change in personal circumstances, or event cancellation due to force majeure (e.g., natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions).
- Event Cancellation: In the unlikely event of cancellation or rescheduling of the marathon by the organisers, participants will be notified via email or the official event website. The organisers reserve the right to modify the event details or cancel the event without liability.
5. Race Kit & Finisher’s Medal
- Race Kit Collection: Participants must collect their race kit, including the race bib and race day apparel, from the designated Expo location. Race kits will not be mailed or delivered. ( Only for On-Ground Categories )
- Finisher’s Medal: : Participants who complete their registered race category will receive a finisher’s medal at the end of the race. Medals must be collected at the event; they will not be shipped or mailed post-event. ( Only for On-Ground Categories )
6. Liability & Disclaimer
- Assumption of Risk: By registering for the Honour Run Jaipur 2024, participants acknowledge and accept the inherent risks associated with participating in a marathon, including but not limited to personal injury, property damage, and other hazards.
- Release of Liability: Participants agree to release the event organisers, sponsors, and affiliated entities from any and all liability, claims, demands, or actions arising from participation in the event.
- Medical Assistance: : Participants consent to receive medical treatment that may be deemed advisable during the event. The event organisers are not responsible for any medical expenses incurred by participants.
7. Data Protection & Privacy
- Personal Data: By registering for the event, participants consent to the collection and use of their personal data for event-related purposes, including but not limited to registration processing, race results, and event communication.
- Photography & Media: Participants agree to the use of their name, likeness, and performance data for promotional purposes by the event organisers, sponsors, and media outlets.
8. Amendments
- Modification of Terms: The event organisers reserve the right to modify or amend these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated to registered participants via email or the official event website.
